Lagos means many things to different people. I would like to show you the Lagos that I see everyday in pictures.

A common sight in Lagos homes, burglar proof fencing is meant to deter would-be assailants from forcing their way into peoples' houses.

Idanre Hills
This is the town of Idanre from atop the Aghagha Hill. It's a view that takes one's breath away. When it rains, mist covers the hills like a heavenly umbrella shrouding the town.
Holiday makers can find some nice hotels to stay in while they explore the many beautiful features of the hills. The town is also home to a large cocoa growing community. Its restaurants make some of the best pounded yam meals in the country.
According to guides, it takes between four days and a week to fully climb all the hills and see the impressive works of nature.
Idanre is located in Ondo State, about four hours from Lagos by road and 30 minutes by air from the Akure airport.

Giant Maltina
Saw this 35 foot Maltina bottle during a recent trip to Idanre, Ondo State where my friends and I went rock climbing (Idanre is famous for its rocks).
You can my friend Seun posing beside the huge replica. Her 6"2 frame is dwarfed by its sheer size.

Ferry ride
A passenger strapped in life vest riding on a ferry across the Lagos Lagoon towards Apapa.
I took a joy trip just to be able to snap photos and my last few posts have been a result of that.
It is only my second ever ride across the channel. The first time was six years ago and I'm happy that the owners have improved on the boats now.
They are a lot better than back then, lighter and much safer.
