Lagos means many things to different people. I would like to show you the Lagos that I see everyday in pictures.

Lunch at The Astoria
This is a Nigerian style lunch consisting of jollof rice (rice cooked in tomato sauce), fried rice, moinmoin ( ground beans cooked with palm oil in leaves, so tasty!), dodo (fried plantain) and some pasta with chicken and beef to go with it. You could wash it down with wine or lager but I did mine with Maltina, a malt brand.
This was at The Astoria Hall in Lagos' Civic Centre yesterday where I attended a meeting of media executives.

Welcome! I'm happy to see a new blog in Africa! To see a little piece of your life through your camera is precious. I'm looking forward to see more!
Yum, this food looks delicious.
That sounds delicious! Mmmm. now you'll make me hungry ;-)
When I lived in London I had a Nigerian friend who used to cook this sort of thing - it was delicious! Even though I'm vegetarian so didn't eat the meaty stuff I managed to stuff my face to bursting point!
