A couple of months ago I posted a shot of Nigeria's star actress
Genevieve Nnaji in an ad campaign on a BRT bus. So a few weeks back I finally got the opportunity of getting a rare interview with her in an upscale hotel in Lekki, Lagos. She was charming. Oprah Winfrey once described her as the Julia Roberts of Africa in an episode listing the most famous people outside of the US.
At the end of the
interview she grabbed my DSLR camera to see how it worked. It was the moment that this image was shot with a mobile phone by her assistant. She's a beautiful soul.
